It was raining. Again. Caroline tried to cover her hair with her bag and she started to jog down the street. She needed to get to school dry, her outfit wasn't made for rain. She wanted to run faster, use her vampire speed. That would dry both her hair and clothes, her new jacket was going to be destroyed if it got to wet,  but there was people around her and she couldn't draw attention to herself. The people in Mystic Fall that knew about the vampires that lived there were still very few and her mother, Sheriff Forbes, and the council of Mystic Fall wanted to keep it that way.

Caroline saw the roof of the school down the street, and she also saw Bonnie walking about 100 meters ahead of her with an umbrella. Caroline started to run to catch up with her, and she ducked with her head to get in under Bonnies umbrella. Bonnie jumped in the air, and raised her free hand to her mouth and stopped a scream from leaving her mouth.

"Caroline! You scared me! Don't sneak up on me like that, I could've hurt you." Bonnie gasped and lowered her hand. Caroline smiled at her and took the umbrella from Bonnie, since she was taller then Bonnie it was better if she was holding it.

"Oh yeah? With what? A little vampire migraine?" Caroline asked with a smile of her lips. Bonne glared up at her with a irritated expression, but then her face turned into a warm smile. The smile only lasted for a couple of seconds, and she turned to face the school in front of them. She started to talk again, this time slowly and she had a tone in her voice that meant she wanted Caroline to listen carefully.

"You know what I mean Caroline, don't sneak up on me. I could've accidently started a fire in your hair. I'm not safe here anymore. The vampires want a witch every other second, and I don't want to help them anymore! So it could have been anyone who sneaked up on me. You, Damon, Stefan.... Or even Klaus!"

Caroline felt how her heart skipped a beat when Bonnie said his name. Bonnie continued to talk about a new spell that she had been reading about, a spell that could paralyse a vampire for a minute, but Caroline didn't listen. Her mind had already start to wander away, she was thinking about Him. "I fancy you.. Is that so hard to believe?" She could her his voice in her head, and she smiled.

"What are you smiling about?" Bonnie bumped into her on purpose so Caroline lost her balance for a second, and smiled at Caroline. "Thinking about Tyler again?"

Caroline blushed, but not because Bonnie asked if she was thinking about Tyler, no she blushed because she wasn't thinking about Tyler. She loved Tyler, but she still had a hard time looking at him after he bit her on her birthday. She cot a warm fuzzy feeling in her stomach when she thought about who saved her.

"Caroline?" Bonnies voice woke Caroline from her thoughts, and she realised that she had stopped and Bonnie was looking up at her.

"Uhm, Yes! Of course I'm thinking about Tyler. My boyfriend. Whom I love very much." Caroline could hear the panic in her voice. Bonnie lifted an eyebrow and opened her moth and was beginning to say something ells. But Caroline spoke first.

"Let's keep walking shall we? We don't want to be late!" And she started to walk really fast, Bonnie had to run to catch up with her. Caroline closed her eyes just for a second, she wanted to see Tyler's face in front of her. But she didn't, she could only see the face of Him.
