Chapter 6 - Klaus

Klaus laughed at his wicked mind. The plan was so perfect that it was almost amusing. He'd been listing to Caroline's plans for the weekend and had picked the perfect time to set the plan into motion. Before all of this happened, Klaus had been invited into Caroline's house when he saved her from the werewolf’s bite. So spying on Caroline was very simple. This coming weekend Caroline was going to a movie with her mum, and they were supposed to meet at the edge of the woods just outside Sheriff Forbes work around 8 pm. Klaus had already made sure, with a fake text sent from Caroline's phone to her mother, that Sheriff Forbes would arrive 15 minutes before Caroline. And then.. lights, camera, action! He smiled at his own thoughts.
Klaus was squatting on a branch outside Caroline's window and looking at her getting ready for the movie. She was walking around in her underwear, trying to decide what to wear. She'd laid out some outfits on the bed, and now she was observing them with an uncertain look in her eyes. Her hair was in a ponytail, and Klaus couldn't stop looking at her elegant neck and the way her cheek was moving while she was mumbling to herself about the different looks. She really was beautiful. He noticed that she flinched when she saw the bracelet he gave her for her birthday, the one she'd thrown at him when they were fighting at his family's ball. It was now lying on the pillow on her bed. Klaus had placed it there just a couple of minutes before she entered the room. Caroline picked it up and studied the diamonds and the beautiful craftsmanship. She lowered her hand, turned towards the window and walked up to it. Caroline put her hands on the window sill and stared out into the black night. Her eyes were looking for him.

"Klaus?" She whispered with a low, hopeful voice. He felt an urge to answer her, but he pressed his lips together and remained silent. And when she shrugged her shoulders and put on the bracelet, Klaus left.

Tyler wasn't staying at his mothers house, he'd taken into hotel. So Klaus didn't have a problem breaking into Tyler's room. The maid that he'd spoken to told him that Tyler had left a couple of hours ago, so Klaus figured that it wouldn't be long until he returned. He was lying on the bed with his hands behind his head, when he heard footsteps and the key opening the door.

"Hello Tyler." Klaus said the moment he saw Tyler's face. Tyler jumped and dropped a bag of groceries on the floor. A paper bag with carrots broke and they rolled out on the floor.

"Klaus?" Tyler's voice was full of surprise and he sighed when he started to pick up the food that was lying all over the floor. "What do you want?"

"Oh, why the long face? Can't handle that I'm making out with your girlfriend?" Klaus asked with a satisfied voice. Tyler, who reached for a carrot lying near the bed, froze.

"What did you just say?"

"You come on now Tyler boy! You heard me." Klaus replied and sat up on the bed. "You've guessed it already so why don't you applaud yourself that you were right?"

"But Caroline said.." Tyler started said with a low voice, he obviously was hurt.  Klaus laughed and gave him a condescending smile.

"Well what did you expect? That she would say yes when you were shouting at her that she was fucking me?"

"How did you.. Wait... Did you watch us?!" Tyler rose from the floor and could feel his emotions rushing through his body.

"I'm actually surprised that you bought what Caroline said, and when you kissed her lips that were still sour from mine.." Klaus rose and put his hand against his chest as if he was hurt. "That's hurtful for you man. To se the love of your life lie to you."

"SHUT UP!" Tyler screamed at Klaus and threw a punch at him, but Klaus caught his fist with his hand. He started to bend Tyler's arm backwards, forcing him down on his knees.

"I didn't come here to play Tyler. I'm here to make you do something for me." Tyler grabbed Klaus arm and tried to make him let go, but he wasn't strong enough. The pain was so strong that everything started to go black before his eyes.

"Please stop.." He whispered in a painful voice. Klaus smiled at him before he released Tyler's hand. He watched Tyler laying on the floor, gasping for air.

"Like I said Tyler, I'm here to make you do something for me. You might call it a favor, but the result of this action will not be in your favour." Tyler glanced up at Klaus and then closed his eyes.

"What do you want me to do?" He whispered.

"Oh, don't give me that sad little face. You're not going to have a free will while doing this."

"I'm a hybrid. You can't compel me." Tyler said with a voice full of fear.

"Well Tyler, you know that bond we have?" Klaus said with a smooth voice.

"I broke out bond! I turned so many times that it didn't hurt anymore."

"Tyler, did you really think that you can brake a bond like that? And did I mention that I can turn you into a walking zombie with it? You won't have a free will, and you wont remember anything that you do. So, you're going to attack Sheriff Forbes for me.

"Caroline's mother? NEVER!" Tyler screamed and rose quickly from the floor, heading for the door. But Klaus was quicker. Before Tyler could reach it, he was standing in front of him.

"Let's not make this difficult shall we?" Klaus said and grabbed Tyler's arms. Tyler could feel a warmth spreading in his body. When it reached his eyes, everything turned black.
